Amending Terms of Employment

Employers must manage the amendment of contracts of employment. All amendments – whether involving a change of salary, workplace, duties or working hours etc. – must comply with the applicable rules.

Our focus is on ensuring that any changes are introduced in a proper manner in relation to the employees and in such a way that the employer's interests are safeguarded in the best possible way.

We know the rules and ensure that employees are given appropriate notice of any amendments. Some changes entail a risk that employees will not wish to continue their employment, despite having been given appropriate notice.

In such situations, we consider both the financial and commercial implications of the proposed changes and provide our clients with advice and suggestions that create value for the company.
